I started to write a long blog post with problems with The Message bible. Instead I have found a web site that does a much better job than I could explaining problems with the message. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think. When I hear someone tell me that they read the Message, or heaven forbid preach from it I cringe and want to thump them on the head with my NASB.

I have been using Logos bible software to compare many of the passages that have been quoted with the NASB and have found no mistakes in his quotes that I have checked.
